Fragments of Poe is a macabre & quirky night of intrigue, where you can dress the part! Inspired by some of Edgar Allan Poe’s best-known tales of gothic romance/horror and framed by the visual aesthetic of queer artist Aubrey Beardsley. A series of highly suggestive scenes and immersive vignettes including film & projection, created with a gender-neutral knowing contemporary gaze!
Fragments of Poe fits perfectly into unusual venues and it's a great introduction to Poe, Beardsley and dance.
Choreography Dora Frankel.
Music by Roma Yagnik and costumes by Kate Collins. Dancers Giacomo Pini and Livia Massarelli. (Image credit: Luke Waddington)
