The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Postal address (if you’ve made a purchase with us online)

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You’ve opted to receive marketing emails from us directly on our website
  • You’ve booked tickets for one of our performances, either online or in person
  • You’ve made another purchase with us, including promotional vouchers, gift cards, merchandise, or similar

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are either:

  1. Your consent, in the case where you have directly opted in to receive marketing information from us. You are able to remove your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link contained in every marketing email we send, or;
  2. We have a legitimate interest, in the case where you have booked tickets or made another purchase with us, and we need to send you information pertaining to your booking/purchase, or to send you marketing information pertaining to the wider event to which your purchase is related.

You can opt to stop receiving marketing emails from us at any time using the unsubscribe link contained in every message.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored within our own database, that of our ticketing provider(s),
and those of any third parties who we engage to manage our contact lists. We may be required by law to disclose your information to third parties, for example in relation to the prevention of financial crime.

We keep your information for 5 years after your last interaction with us. We’ll send you an email offering you to re-subscribe if you’d still like to hear from us, then dispose of your information one month later if we haven’t heard from you.

If you choose to unsubscribe from marketing communications, your information will immediately be deleted from databases which are used solely for marketing purposes, but will be retained in relation to any orders you have placed with us for the same period mentioned above, in case we should require it at a later date for legal reasons. In this case, we will not email you prior to deleting your information at the end of the retention period, as you have already indicated that you do not wish to be contacted.
