Volunteer registration is now OPEN for Durham Fringe 2026! 📣 Durham Fringe Festival will return 29 July to 2 August and we are looking for volunteers to join this year's team. As a volunteer, you'll get to see incredible shows, meet great people, boost your CV, and meaningfully support grassroots performing arts 🙌 Roles include Front of House and technical support. Find everything you need to know about the roles and complete an online registration form via our website: durhamfringe.co.uk/volunteer (or head to the link in our bio). Whether you've been involved before or this is your first time, please register online. No previous experience required.
It's been a little while since we said hello & that's because we've been busy behind the scenes... We've spent the last few weeks evaluating a record-breaking number of performer applications, cramming the 2026 schedule with as many shows as we can accommodate. We're still working on it, but we can tell you it's going to be an EPIC year for Durham Fringe. If you applied and you're still waiting to hear from us, we hope to get responses to everyone by the end of March. The full lineup for this year's festival will go live on 1 May but we've got quite a few things to reveal before then. We have officially closed applications to perform at Durham Fringe 2026. Thank you to everyone who has applied this year. We have had a record number of applicants & the standard is without a doubt even higher than before. Our jury and delivery team be working hard over the next few weeks to score applications & begin the process of scheduling. If you've applied, you can expect to hear from us in March.
