Established in 2016, Ragtime Rewind Vintage Swing Band perform vintage music all over the country. As seen on The One Show, ITV and BBC News in 2022 as part of Durham's City of Culture bid. Returning for our third year at Durham Fringe. This year we are bringing you an eclectic mix of 1920s-1940s swing, Charleston and blues - the perfect speakeasy intimate performance. Sultry vocals, sassy sax, slap double bass, plinky-plonk keys and brushed drums. Expect excellent musicians and outstanding vocals , immaculately presented in coordinating outfits befitting the era of the music. Especially happy to be in Durham, the home town for three of our five performers.
