The wonderful Studio at the Gala Theatre is new this year to the Durham Fringe Festival.

The room is 22m long by 6 m wide. It's an end on space with a raised stage and excellent sound and lighting.

The space is on the 2nd floor, with lift access, disabled toilets, and hopefully a bar within the venue itself, certainly an excellent bar/coffee shop on the ground floor.

There are windows with an amazing viewing along the whole stage right wall but the curtains allow for a very satisfactory "black out".

There is a separate room that may be used as a Dressing Room.

Performance space We plan to configure the space end-on, with a 6x3m raised stage and 8 rows of flat seating. Access to the raised stage will be via treads from Upstage-Right, Upstage-Left, and Downstage-Left.
